Charleston Air Force Base (AFB) Operation and Maintenance

ADVENT has been contracted by the Charleston AFB to perform operation and maintenance on specified oil-water separators (OWS), sand traps, lift stations, and grease traps located on the AFB property. Facilities are sampled annually for TCLP metals, TCLP SVOCs, TCLP VOCs, pH, and flashpoint. Facilities are cleaned at regular intervals in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. Waste is transported in Department of Transportation and approved containers and disposed of at appropriate facilities.

Pensacola Naval Air Station RCRA Sampling

ADVENT was contracted by the Naval Facilities Southern Division to perform RCRA groundwater monitoring at the Pensacola Naval Air Station in Florida. Two groundwater monitoring field events were performed: January 2006 and July 2006, that included field sampling, groundwater level measurements and laboratory analysis in accordance with Florida Administrative Code Rule 62-160 and Florida Permit Number 0154498-004HF dated 16 January 2002. ADVENT provided professional Geologic and Geo-Chemical interpretations of site conditions and effectiveness of corrective actions. Reports were prepared as required by current Florida Permit Number 0154498-004-HF and Florida Administrative Code Rule 62-160 requirements.
