Barksdale Air Force Base Integrated Natural Resources Management Plan

ADVENT was contracted by the ACC ECAS to create an Integrated Natural Resources Management Plant (INRMP) for Barksdale AFB, Louisiana . Research was performed that included historical and present day mineral leasing operation, wetland delineations, soil surveys, scientific research studies, fire management, forest sustainability, and deer management. ADVENT created an INRMP that complied with the Air Force Instruction (AFI) 32-7064, and contained a five-year implementation plan. The plan developed projects detailed with titles, descriptions, and costs, and specified how each project helped achieve the INRMP goals for Barksdale AFB.

Marine Corps Base Camp LeJeune : Training Range SR6 Improvements.

ADVENT was contracted by the US Army Corps of Engineers to improve the operational condition of Training Range SR6 located within the Greater Sand Run Area (GSRA). Culverts will be installed and drainage ditches cleared of brush and debris to improve the drainage and access to the range. Trees and brush will be cleared from the area to satisfy visibility requirements from the range control tower. Most clearing activities will occur in sensitive wetland areas, necessitating planning and observance of the Section 404 requirements of the CWA.
